2012
Coinbase starts in an apartment.
Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam built a wallet regular people could actually use. Y Combinator. A two-bedroom in San Francisco. That is the beginning this community is saluting.
A thank you
So Good Brian is a community initiative to thank Brian Armstrong. For Coinbase. For the years it took to take that work public. For making something hard feel usable for ordinary people.
Why this exists
Not a company page. Not his account. A fan room for the work: a bitcoin wallet out of a San Francisco apartment in 2012, a public listing in 2021, and everything he kept building after that.
The drawings are how this community shows up.

2021
14 April 2021. Direct listing on Nasdaq. First major US crypto company on a public exchange. The listing was the proof that the apartment years landed.
2025
19 May 2025. First crypto company in the index. A long road from a two-bedroom to a name every index fund has to hold.
Drawings
Desk days. Suit days. Gym days. The community made a mascot and then could not stop.
